This weekend will be warm (yay) but there will be showers (boo)

Temperatures to hit 19 degrees but best bring the brolly if you’re heading out.

WE’VE BEEN ENJOYING some pretty lovely weather of late. So much so that we have almost forgotten about last month’s washout.

While we might have been hoping for a trip to the beach this weekend, it doesn’t look too likely to work out.

Okay first up, the good news.

It’s going to be pretty warm both on Saturday and Sunday.

Highest temperatures tomorrow will be between 17 and 19 degrees. Not too shabby.

Highest temperatures on Sunday will be 15 to 18 degrees, with light breezes.

Now, the bad news.

While today there will be showery outbreaks of rain throughout the day, the most of the time the weather will remain dry.

However, the showers could make a return tomorrow just as the weekend kicks in, with some being heavy and possibly thundery, says Met Eireann.

When it’s not showery though, there will be some nice sunny spells.

Sunday will be a cloudy day with scattered outbreaks of showery rain.

Heavier rain will develop along the east coast and across the northeast through the day.

Into next week, it’s looking rather cloudy, some dry spells, but also some rain. Typical Irish weather, really.

You think we would know the drill by now, but we live in hope the weather gods will shine on us. Sigh.
