20-year-old woman killed as car strikes wall in Wexford

No one else was injured in the incident today.

A WOMAN HAS been killed in a road collision in Wexford today.

The incident occurred at Camblin in New Ross at 4.50pm. A 20-year-old female driver was killed when the car she was driving struck a wall.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to University Hospital Waterford. No one else was injured.

The road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic collision examination and diversions are in place.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact gardaí at New Ross station on 051 426030, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
