This soaring footage of Wicklow in mid-winter will help you stick to those resolutions

Anyone for a hike?

AFTER WEEKS OF miserably rainy weather, conditions are finally shifting.

There’ll be clear spells in many areas this weekend: the best of the sunny spells this afternoon will be in the south, while tomorrow will be cold and bright with clear spells in many areas.

So if you’re planning a hike – you may well want to make the most of the apparent break in the weather (check out the full forecast here – and as always, pack sensibly).

Irish director David Magnier has been capturing some stunning shots of Co Wicklow over the last few weeks… His footage of the Garden of Ireland in mid-winter should inspire you to get out and about, wherever you are in the country.

He calls it “a love letter to Wicklow”.
