    The Journal allowing comments on Politics in the UK but only allow comments on Irish Politics when the Government are looking to send a message or for feedback.
    It’s actually hard to fathom.

    @Brendan O’Brien: And you’re point being???
    The article has no relevance, as a matter of fact it’s published like many other’s to publicise Simon Harris a Leader.
    More PR ,the irony of it all.

    @Sean O’Dhubhghaill: The Journal only exists because of its readership.

    Do you really think that readership – its customers – don’t have any right to complain?
    To suggest improvements?
    Improvements that would make The Journal better for them, the customers and the only ones keeping The Journal in business?

    Customer service isn’t your forte, is it Sean?

    There are reports that Boris Johnson arrived to vote without voter ID. If true, then he again doesn’t know a law he himself passed as PM….and further evidence that he’s largely incapable of everyday adult functioning.

    The Conservatives in the UK have gone the way of Republicans in the US. 30/40 years ago, while you may not have agreed with their policies you could understand the rational behind them, debate them and agree to disagree. Now, however,…………..? I never thought I would see the day when I would consider Ronald Reagan a reasonable moderate. Come back Maggie Thatcher, all is forgiven (though that might still be a step too far!).

    Politicians are all painted with the same brush through the world.
    All talk and promises before an election and nothing after their in power.
    If they promise and can’t deliver they should be sacked after 18 months and not have to wait for a full 5 year term

    Good stuff they need manners put on them. It’s a pity the journal is more than happy to deny comment on most comments about our own Tories, Ireland has had Tories in government for a hundred years. Buckled infrastructure. A shanty town on the canal.
    Elsewhere, unacceptable that anti British Khan has been re elected as Mayor of London. He openly appeases people who commit violence in London
