Legal help needed after ball gets stuck during Winning Streak filming

Filming had to be halted for a period of time.

A RECORDING OF an episode of Winning Streak was delayed at the weekend after a ball got stuck during the ‘wheel reveal’ section.

The ball, which got stuck in a draw drum, would have determined which player could have had a chance of spinning the big wheel.

Legal help had to be drafted in to deal with the issue, the Irish Sun reported this morning.

However, the situation didn’t have an impact on the overall outcome of the game, the National Lottery said.

In a statement to TheJournal.ie, a National Lottery spokesperson said:

On Saturday afternoon, during the recording of the Winning Streak TV gameshow a technical issue occurred which caused a short delay to the filming of the show.
This did not have any impact on the outcome of the game and the show broadcast at the normal time.

The Winning Streak TV Gameshow takes place under the supervision of independent observers from KPMG.
