Woman released without charge after large amount of cash seized at Cork house

A WOMAN IN her 30s arrested earlier today after gardaí seized a large amount of cash at a house in Cork has been released without charge.

Gardaí also seized a small amount of drugs and some documents from the house on St Coleman’s Road in Farrenree in Cork city.

The exact amount of money found at the house has not been disclosed.

The woman was being held at Gurranabraher Garda Station under section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions
