Woman arrested over East Wall abduction released

A woman questioned by gardaí about the kidnapping of Dublin man Ciarán Noonan has been released without charge.

A WOMAN WHO was arrested over the abduction of a man in East Wall, Dublin, on 20 October has been released without charge.

The woman, aged in her early twenties, was arrested as part of the investigation into the abduction of 29-year-old Ciarán Noonan.

Noonan was assaulted and bundled into a car on Russell Avenue at 4.45pm on the afternoon of Thursday 20 October. His whereabouts are still unknown.

It was the second arrest in relation to the kidnapping. Last week, another woman in her mid twenties was arrested and subsequently released without charge.
