Woman threatened and assaulted by man in park

The woman, in her mid-30s, managed to avoid serious injury.

A WOMAN WAS threatened and assaulted by a man in a Dublin park earlier this week.

The incident occurred at 7.30am on 18 October. The woman, who was on her own, said she was approached, threatened and assaulted by a lone male.

Gardaí said they are investigating the serious assault and attempted robbery of a female in her late 30s in the park.

The woman managed to escape on foot, avoiding serious injury, and the male fled the scene empty handed.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Blanchardstown Garda Station on 6667000.
