Donegal woman killed in Spain crash

The woman, aged in her 70s, was holidaying with her family at the time.

A DONEGAL WOMAN was killed in a crash in Spain yesterday.

It’s understood that the woman in her 70s was holidaying with her family when the accident happened.

She was taken to hospital for treatment but later died from injuries sustained in the crash.

An investigation is underway but a spokesperson for the Department of Foreign Affairs said that while it is aware of reports of the case,  it has not received any requests for consular assistance.
