Man dies after falling from roof in Donegal

The man was working at the time.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a man’s death after he fell from a roof in Donegal yesterday.

The accident happened at about 9am yesterday morning.

The man – aged in his mid-30s – is believed to have fallen from a roof while working in Falcarragh in north-west Donegal.

The man was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.

Local media reports that the man will not be officially named until all of his relatives have been informed of his death.

The Health and Safety Authority is also investigating the death.
