Man killed in accident on Sligo windfarm

The Health and Safety Authority and gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the accident.

A MAN HAS died in a workplace accident in Co Sligo.

The man, who was in his 30s, was working on a windfarm at Ballyfarnon when he was injured at around 6.30 yesterday evening.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Sligo General Hospital.

Both the Health and Safety Authority and gardaí are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
