Young man dies after Donegal car crash

The single car collision claimed the life of the 19-year-old, while another three men were also injured.

GARDAÍ IN DONEGAL are investigating a car crash which claimed the life of a 19-year-old man in the early hours of the morning.

The man died after the car he was driving struck a bridge at Station Road in Mountcharles at about 2am today.

His body has been removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.

There were three passengers – all males in their 20s – in the car at the time of the collision. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The road is currently closed pending the completion of forensic examinations. Local diversions are in place.
