QUIZ: How much do you remember of 00s TV?

Test your knowledge on the decade that brought us everything from Black Books to Big Brother.

THOUGH THESE DAYS, we might chat about Love Island re-couplings in our Whatsapp groups, back in the noughties, it was all about Big Brother evictions, the latest cliffhanger in The OC and things were discussed in detail on MSN – mostly with a pretty intermittent dial-up connection.

Bizarre reality TV shows like You Are What You Eat (where contestant’s toilet bowl contents were analysed) and Room Raiders (where stains on their sheets were) were the entertainment of the hour. And you weren’t worth talking to if you hadn’t caught the latest episode of The West Wing, The Sopranos or The Wire.

Binge-watching came in the form of DVD box sets dispersed nationally at Christmas, where you’d often rewatch a series you enjoyed first on TV. They were simpler times – but how much do you remember about the hours of shows you caught back then?

The Electric Ireland Throwback Stage at Electric Picnic will be showing throwback movies throughout the festival, so it’s probably time you brushed up on your TV. Take our quiz to find out how much you remember.
