114 cannabis plants found in Longford grow house

The plants have an approximate street value of €91,200.

GARDAÍ FROM THE Divisional Drugs Unit based in Roscommon discovered more than 114 cannabis plants in a grow house in Longford yesterday.

Following the search of a house in Ballinamuck, gardaí found the evidence of cultivation processes and discovered the plants with an approximate street value of €91,200.

Arrest

One male, aged 22-years-old was arrested and is currently being detained at Longford Garda station.under the provisions of section 2 of Criminal Justice(Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
