Two arrests after €140,000 cocaine seizure in Lucan

The men were arrested separately after a search of a car, and a follow-up search of a house where cash was seized.

TWO MEN have been arrested after Gardaí seized cocaine worth an estimated €140,000.

The drugs were seized after a car was searched yesterday evening. A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene.

A second man was arrested during a follow-up operation at a house in which an amount of cash was seized.

Both men are being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.

They are expected to appear before Dublin District Court this morning.
