17-year-old charged over David Byrne's murder

Teenager David Byrne was stabbed to death in Inchicore last month.

GARDAÍ IN KILMAINHAM, Dublin, have charged a 17-year-old boy in relation to the murder of David Byrne, 19, in Dublin last month.

Byrne was fatally stabbed after being chased into the car park of the Emmet Court complex in Inchicore on 19 March.

The 17-year-old is due to be brought before the Criminal Court of Justice this evening.

Over a dozen people were questioned by gardaí in their investigation of Byrne’s death.
