This week we are looking at the cars of the 1990s and we’ve rounded up some cracking cars from the decade that taste forgot – from the dream car to the (slightly) more affordable.

1991 Porsche 911, €50,000
The 964 is one of the most timeless Porsche 911 designs ever. It is a modern Porsche for the purists. This particular model is in good condition and the silver exterior colour works really well with the black leather interior. A proper 90s classic.

1995 BMW 840 A Ci, €18,950
The BMW 8 Series coupe is a modern classic. It is a big, luxury, two-door BMW barge and this particular model has an added dose of cool thanks to the fact that it used to belong to the legendary Sir Terry Wogan and Viscount Linley, who is Queen Lizzie’s nephew.

1999 BMW Z3, €16,995
Fast, reliable and beautiful to look at, do you need any more reasons to buy the timeless BMW Z3? Oh, It is a Bond car too, from GoldenEye, so you know it is cool.
It was the first modern mass-market roadster produced by BMW and it was the first non-British production car that Bond used as his primary mode of transport. This is the rare M model of which a little over 13,000 examples were made. This is an affordable collector’s item.

1999 Land Rover Defender 110, €14,000
There will never be another car like the Land Rover Defender. It is a genuine modern classic and off-road icon. This is the 110 long wheelbase version and it looks fetching in its Fuji white coat and 18-inch sawtooth alloys. A lot of work and love has gone into this particular example and here’s your chance to own a piece of automotive history.

1998 Subaru Impreza, £8,499 (€9,613)
The Subaru Impreza was the poster car for a whole generation of PlayStation pilots and now is your chance to own this road-going rally icon. If you are thinking of buying a Impreza this is the one to go for. It is a Type R import from Japan and they are pretty rare on our roads.
