21-year-old arrested over Dublin city centre assault

The woman was arrested this morning over an attack that left its victim missing part of her nostril.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have arrested a 21-year-old woman this morning in connection with a serious assault in the early hours of Sunday morning which left its victim missing part of her nostril.

The woman was arrested this morning and is being detained at Pearse Street Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

The 23-year-old victim of the assault, which took place at around 2:45am close to the Tara Street train station in the city centre, required surgery earlier this week after part of her nose was bitten off in the attack.
