25-year-old man killed in Limerick road accident

Gardaí are investigating the circumstances of how a young man left a minor road and entered a field.

A 25-YEAR-OLD MAN has been killed in a fatal road accident in Co Limerick.

The single-car accident occurred when the man’s car left a minor road at Ballinacourty in Kilfinane, in the south of the county, and entered a field.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body taken to Mid-Western Regional Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Forensic investigators attended the scene but the road has been reopened.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact the Bruff station at 061 382940, the Garda confidential line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
