LONG GONE ARE the Christmas Days where people don’t leave their homes or even entertain the idea of exercise.

The traditional morning swim or run is becoming more widespread among Irish families.

Today, thousands of you took to the seas and the roads for various activities. Here are some of the images our photographer and our readers sent to us.
