Gardaí find €40,000 worth of ecstasy in Galway

The discovery was part of an intelligence led operation.

GARDAI SEIZED UP to €40,000 worth of drugs in Galway city yesterday evening.

The large supply of ecstasy tablets were discovered during a planned search of a house at around 6:30pm.

Gardai from the Galway Drug Unit found the drugs in a house in the Laurel Park area of Galway City.

No arrests were made and the investigation is ongoing.
