3. #WICKLOW: Sinn Féin has expelled three councillors from the party following an unresolved row at Wicklow County Council.

4. SECOND TERM: President Michael D Higgins has said he “is not ruling out” running for a second term in office next year.

5. #TONIGHT: We spoke to Matt Cooper and Ivan Yates ahead of the first episode of the Tonight Show on TV3 later, which is replacing Tonight with Vincent Browne.

    The government is considering sending the government jet to Egypt according to Tv3 news.I wonder would this set a president for all Irish citizens wrongly jailed abroad.
