1.#STABBING: A 45-year-old man has died after being stabbed in Dublin last night. The man was stabbed at North Strand at around 10.45pm last night. Sources told TheJournal.ie that he was stabbed five times, once in the head.

2.#ABORTION: A Labour minister says that she wants to see a referendum on the repealing of the 8th Amendment. Jan O’Sullivan said, however, that such a vote won’t happen in the lifetime of the government.

3.#ON OFFER: Tens of thousands of students today received their CAO First Round offers. 75,000 offers were sent to 50,000 students who are intent on taking up third-level courses today.

4.#HALAWA: The sister of Ibrahim Halawa, the Irish teenager who is a prison in Egypt, said that he has been beaten with a metal chain. Nosayba Halawa said she had gone to visit her brother, Ibrahim Halawa, in prison yesterday.

5.#TOURIST: A Greek tourist has told how his motorbike was stolen in Cork over the weekend, being dumped in a river. Nikos told RTÉ’s Liveline that despite the incident, he will come back to Ireland.
