1. #CRASH: Two people have died in Seattle after a TV news helicopter crashed outside its station near the city’s Space Needle. Another man has been taken to hospital for treatment to serious burns.

2. #CABRA: Gardaí have arrested two men in connection with the death of man in Cabra, north Dublin, this morning. The 21-year-old was found outside the Cabra House Pub at around 7.40am and later pronounced dead in hospital.

3. #PLANE: The turn that diverted missing flight MH370 was programmed into the plane’s navigation system, probably by someone in the cockpit, it’s being reported. It’s ten days since the plane vanished, en route to Beijing.

4. #MCCONVILLE: A 77-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Jean McConville in 1972. Detectives investigating the 42-year-old case made the arrest in west Belfast this morning.

5. #PAGE TURNERS: The Government has provisionally appointed five people to a new Censorship of Publications Board — solely to deal with the issue of Alan Shatter’s reprinted novel ‘Laura’.
