4. #TAXING: Five-time world player of the year Lionel Messi has been sentenced to 21 months in prison for tax evasion. However, the sentence is likely to be fully suspended.

5. #EQUALITY: Admission fees, waiting lists, and explicit discrimination are to be banned in Irish schools according to Minister for Education Richard Bruton.
