3. #SOUTH AFRICA Oscar Pistorius will be sentenced for the murder of Reeva Steenkamp on 6 July. During a hearing today, he was asked to walk around the courtroom without his prosthetics.

4. #PHILIP CAIRNS Gardaí have asked local Rathfarnham people who were children at the time of Philip Cairns’ disappearance to come forward if they have information.

5. #FLORIDA A search continues for a two-year-old boy who was dragged into the water by an alligator at an upscale resort.
