What can I get in Ireland, right now... for exactly €500,000?

WHETHER THE LOCATION is perfect but there’s no back garden, or the size is ideal but out of your price range, compromising on your list of ‘must-haves’ is something you’ll soon become accustomed to while hunting for a suitable house.

If a house within a certain price range is currently top of that list, panic not, because we’ve done some of the hard work for you. Each week we round up four homes in a certain price bracket. This week, we’re talking €500,000.

Kinsale, Co Cork – €500,000

1 Sorrell Avenue is part of a development called Abbey Fort in the Cork seaside town of Kinsale.
