7-year-old boy in critical condition after hit-and-run in Cork

A man is helping gardaí with their inquiries.

A SEVEN YEAR old boy is fighting for his life after being knocked down earlier today.

The child was rushed to Cork University Hospital after the hit-and-run in Midleton.

He’s now in a critical condition.

Gardaí say that a man is helping them with their inquiries.

It happened between 1pm and 1:30pm.

Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
