7. #CRASH: A man has died after his motorbike crashed into a ditch in Kerry. The collision happened shortly before 7pm last evening around three miles outside Sneem.

8. #FAIR PLAY: Ireland’s fans outdid themselves at Euro 2016 – and now they’re being given a medal by the French.

9. #WHEN BONO CALLED ALAN: U2′s Bono made a return to the Irish Register of Lobbying in the last year, it’s emerged. His lobbying efforts included a phone call to then-environment minister Alan Kelly promoting a plan for a film studio in Dublin.
