1. #BREXIT British Prime Minister David Cameron is set to appear before the House of Commons today, where he will lay out his case for the UK remaining in a reformed European Union. Mayor of London Boris Johnson spoke yesterday about his intentions to campaign for a Brexit.

2. #KILDARE The body of a teenager (18) has been found in a car that crashed into a ditch in Carbury, Kildare. Gardaí said that the teen’s body could have been there for hours. Investigations are ongoing.

3. #POLL A new Ipsos MRBI survey has found that support for Fianna Fáil has risen, support for Fine Gael is unchanged, while support for Labour and Sinn Féin has dropped. Support for independents/others has risen.

4. #MICHIGAN A man has been arrested in Michigan, accused of shooting dead six people during a killing spree. Jason Brian Dalton was a driver for Uber and it is believed he may have picked up fares during the spree.

5. #SUPER VALU Irish grocery retailer Super Valu has announced record sales of €2.6 billion in 2015. It plans to invest €28 million in 2016, open five stores and add 350 jobs to its network.

6. #WEATHER No sign of warmer temperatures this week, as Met Éireann tells us that temperatures will dip to freezing tomorrow. It will be fairly dry, however.

7. #SOUTH AFRICA A woman is on trial for stealing a newborn 18 years ago. A DNA test was carried out after school pupils noticed a resemblance between a student and a new girl. It confirmed the two were sisters – one of the girls had disappeared when she was three days old.

8. #SQUAD GOALS Pop singer Taylor Swift has given singer Kesha €250,000 in a show of support, after a court denied Kesha an injunction last week. The injunction would have enabled her to make music outside of her contract with Sony Music.

9. #BIG BUCKS A Dublin office building in the docklands area has been sold for €51.3m. The Central Quay building, which has six floors and 57,000 square feet of offices, was sold to Hibernia.
