1. #ONLINE SAFETY: The number of students who’ve admitted to cyberbullying is increasing with one in 10 students now saying that they’ve bullied another student online.

2. #KIEV: Russia’s anger at the ousting of president Viktor Yanukovych has led to them withdrawing their ambassador to Kiev.

3. #BE GRAND: No decision has yet been made by Irish Water on who will collect commercial water charges. In 2013, uncollected water charges amounted to over €16 million.

4. #WORLD WAR II: Alice Herz-Sommer, the world’s oldest known Holocaust survivor, has died in London aged 110.

5. #TRANSGENDER: The Irish Times reports that Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton is considering lowering the age at which transgender people can apply for  legal recognition of their acquired gender from 18 to 16.

6.#SLEEPOVER SHIFTS: Two unions have lodged a complaint with the EU over what they say are illegal hours being worked by residential care staff .

7. #AIRLINES: Aer Lingus made an operating profit of €61.1 million last year but said it could have been even better was it not for the ongoing pensions dispute.

8. #TRUANT: There were 175 court summons for parents of children not attending school last year but only 41 people were convicted according to the Irish Examiner.

9. #DROPPED: British talk show host Piers Morgan is to lose his CNN show after ratings fell off dramatically.
