Just as a shame RTE won’t back Irish comedy,
    - Father Ted
    - Moon Boy
    - Derry Girls

Not to mention numerous Irish comedians that wouldn’t have had a look in with RTE and had to go to the UK to find TV work,

But RTE are happy to welcome them back once Channel 4 etc have done all the hard work

@Pauliebhoy: true, but even if they wren’t they wouldn’t have taken it.

As it is you had people outraged about it on the Late Late when they decided to finally air episodes of it.

I really hope I’m wrong but I’ve a feeling this is going to be a disappointment… And no doubt Jason Byrne will be stuck on it :(

RTE collect money for people in need but when it comes to the tv licence scam the well paid people in rte take no prisoners People have been fined and sometimes end up in gaol over the unjust tv tax
