AN IMAGE OF young, blue star clusters being formed over 11 million light years away was featured by NASA as its picture of the day yesterday (article image).

It caught our attention – as it probably should given it gives us a glimpse into regions normally obscured by major dust – and inspired us to contemplate the astounding sights and events that the space agency’s satellites and astronauts catch every day.
