A MAN IN his 60s has died in a road accident in Co Wexford.

The single-vehicle accident happened at Clone, near Ferns, in the southeastern county at 6.20pm this evening.

The man was the sole occupant of his car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Garda forensic collision investigators are examining the scene of the crash and the road remains closed.
