AIB's mobile and internet banking are down - but cards and branches are fine

AIB SAYS IT is experiencing technical difficulties with its app and internet banking facilities.

The bank says it doesn’t have a time-frame for resolving the issue, but their IT team is working on it.

Customers can still make payments with their cards or carry out transactions in branch.

Customers attempting to log in to their accounts are being met with connection errors or being told to try logging in again.

It has led to numerous customers tweeting the bank’s customer support account, with their staff replying that the system is down.

The company has been asked for a comment by TheJournal.ie and we will update this story accordingly.
