Air France flight makes emergency landing at Dublin Airport

Fire services were sent to meet the plane on its arrival.

AN AIR FRANCE flight made a safe landing after an incident with a tyre just after takeoff.

The plane was greeted by fire services when it landed at Dublin Airport this evening.

CityJet said that a left inner tyre incident occurred on takeoff on Air France flight number AF1016 from Paris Charles DeGaulle (CDG) to Dublin (DUB).

Fire services have been notified to meet the aircraft on arrival at Dublin as part of the normal emergency procedure.

The airline said that the aircraft landed safely at 8.11pm in Dublin.
