Airport Customs officials seize €21,000 worth of heroin

CUSTOMS OFFICIALS at Dublin Airport have seized 140g of heroin, with an estimated street value of €21,000, from a woman in her 30s yesterday. The woman had just disembarked a flight from Amsterdam when she was arrested. She remains in detention at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 2of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996. The seizure marks the second time heroin has been intercepted at the airport this year.
