Well that actually happened… The Taoiseach talked up Ireland as model of economic recovery in an interview for the magazine’s Europe edition in October of 2012.

The mock-up cover above was featured on a leaflet sent to voters in the Fine Gael TD’s Dublin South constituency in 2009.

Despite the irreverent-looking cover, however, the rest of the content is straightforward enough — a letter inside talks up the TD’s contributions from the opposition benches, and urges readers to vote ‘yes’ in the Lisbon Treaty referendum.
