Aldi recalls batch of pesto due to detection of Salmonella

ALDI IS RECALLING a batch of its Deli Green Pesto due a Salmonella detection. 

It’s recalling the batches of Deli Green Pesto with the use-by date 23.11.2018

This is due to the detection of Salmonella.

Point of sale recall notices will be displayed in Aldi stores. 

Meanwhile, Caffreys Confectionary Halloween Bloody Mallows are being recalled as a precautionary measure due to a potential risk of Salmonella contamination of a milk ingredient. 

The batch with the best-before date of 30.01.2019 is being recalled. 

Consumers are being advised to dispose of the implicated mallows. 

No other products have been affected by this particular recall. 

The FSAI announced the recalls on its website this afternoon.
