On the day, over 400 guests came through the DSPCA doors and were treated to a variety of fun pet-themed activities that set tails wagging. Every need was catered for, from gourmet food trucks and exciting dog shows to expert animal nutritionists and colourful face painters.

The pawperazzi were out in force with dog-friendly photo booths that ensured a cover-worthy snap for many of the dogs in attendance. The fun-focused agility course was also a hit for many of the dogs, judging by their excitement going through it.

The day was a great chance for dog lovers to meet and celebrate their pets together, with the overall event an expression of the owner’s commitment to pet care. Existing Allianz customers reaped the benefits of this complimentary event that everyone in the family enjoyed, as evidenced by those in attendance.

We’ve had a great time, myself and my ten year old twins, and our lovely dog Daisy. It’s great to meet lots of volunteers and people who work really hard to protect vulnerable animals, so we’ve had a great day. Thanks Allianz!” said one attendee.
