THE LATEST ALLSOP Space auction takes place in Dublin’s RDS today.
As usual, the sale features a wide range of properties — from residential to retail and business properties.
There’s 165 lots in all under the hammer today, with a total reserve of €33 million.

The usual array of very cheap houses…
One in Claremorris, Co Galway for a reserve of €25,000, for instance, and another in Fermoy starting at €20,000.
At the very bottom of the market, they’re not in great nick, obviously.
Case in point, this home in Athlone with a €10k reserve.

Some unusual properties…
This detached pub, filling station, shop and residence in Ballinlough, Co Meath is on sale with a reserve of between €140,000 to €160,000.
According to the brochure: “The property is arranged over ground and first floors to provide a public house and restaurant, petrol station with convenience store together with a residence”.

Bargain basement hotels…
Like this 14 bedroom hotel & 4-bed house in Banagher, Co Offaly… It has a reserve of between €250,000 and €300,000.

And this one in Ballina, Co Mayo, with a reserve of between €200,000 and €250,000. It has 31 bedrooms, a bar, restaurant and two function rooms.

An entire shopping centre in Tipperary…
This complex, which includes three warehouses and pub licence, is up for sale for a reserve of between €750,000 and €800,000.
It’s located in Nenagh, Tipperary, and, according to the brochure: “The shopping centre is arranged to provide for a large grocery store, a large retail unit and numerous small retail units benefitting from own door access”.

A range of higher-end properties…
Like these apartment blocks in Dublin. There are two blocks of apartments, comprising 14 units in total, on sale today for a reserve of between €2m and €2.25m.
The blocks are in Clonsilla, West Dublin. 0.52 acres of development land is also included.
