People look at me and say 'You don't look like somebody that has dementia'

…but I wonder ‘What does dementia look like?’

ABOUT 48,000 PEOPLE in Ireland live with dementia, a condition that has no cure.

There are some 50,000 family carers looking after them.

The Alzheimer Society of Ireland has launched a campaign called ‘Learn, Listen, Link’ that aims to remove the stigma associated with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

In a moving video, people with these conditions ask others to be more open to learning and talking about the subject.
