"I miss him, but it's okay." - 10-year-old girl talks about her dad who died by suicide

Andy Morgan died on New Year’s Eve in 2010.

THE VIDEO ABOVE shows 10-year-old Alex whose father Andy Morgan died by suicide on New Year’s Eve in 2010.

Alex is on one of Andy’s three children and made the video with the Andy Morgan Foundation which was set up in the year after his death to “spread the message of hope to everyone who has lost someone to suicide and those suffering with depression”.

The foundation places a specific focus on children and teenagers and says that Alex wanted to make the video as a tribute to her father and to let other parents know she feels it’s okay to tell children the truth about suicide.

The Andy Morgan Foundation was set up by Andy’s family along with Alex’s mother Joanne.
