Poll: Would you stay anonymous if you won the lottery?

Give it to us straight. Be honest.

THE ISLAND OF Bere was buzzing this week after one of their own won €500,000 on the Euromillions.

However, the lucky person has decided to stay anonymous. (Although it might be difficult given there are only 220 people living on the island).

It got us thinking about what we would do if we had that golden ticket in our hands.

Would you stay anonymous if you won the lottery?

Poll Results:

Yes, I'd remain anonymous (10882)
Depends on how much I won (1033)
No, I'd go public (218)
I'm not sure (200)
