Appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist killed in Meath crash

The collision happened yesterday in Oldcastle.

GARDAÍ HAVE ISSUED a fresh appeal for information after a man in his fifties was killed in a road crash in Meath yesterday evening.

The collision, between the man’s motorbike and a car happened at around 5.10pm at Millbrook Road in Oldcastle.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body removed to Our Lady’s Hospital in Navan, where a post mortem is scheduled to be carried out today.

The woman who was driving the car was uninjured.

Any witnesses to the crash, or anyone who was in the Millbrook Road area around the time it happened is being asked to contact Gardaí in Kells on 046 9280820.
