Appeal for witnesses to fatal Limerick crash

A male motorcyclist was killed on Friday after his bike collided with a car.

GARDAÍ ARE appealing for witnesses to a fatal traffic collision in Co Limerick on Friday afternoon to come forward.

A male motorcyclist in his 20s was fatally injured when his bike collided with a car at Carrigeen, Croom, at around 3.45pm on Friday.

Gardaí in Askeaton are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who travelled on the Ballingarry to Croom Road between 3.30pm and 4pm on Friday to contact them on 061 601630. The Garda Confidential Line is 1800 666 111.

Yesterday, two people were killed in road accidents.
