Er, why is there an apple in the fridge? Shutterstock/vchal

Poll: Do you keep apples in the fridge?

Give it to us straight. Be honest.

WE ARE NOT just asking that as a random question. This has become a debate in the UK where the Food Standards Agency (FSA) wants to tackle waste by better advising consumers on how to store fresh food.

A bag of apples, they say, could last two weeks longer if stored in the fridge, the Guardian reports.

Do you already know this? Do you keep your apples in the fridge?

Poll Results:

No, how ridiculous (5363)
Yes, I do (3521)
No, but I will now (2939)
I don't like apples (281)
