With just days to go until polling, this is one of your last chances to meet the presidential candidates. Here’s where they will be today.

AS THE CAMPAIGN for the presidential election continues, check out where you can meet the candidates today:

Seán Gallagher will take a tour of Roscommon town at 3pm, before visiting the Allen Field nursing home in Lanesborough, Co Longford (4:15pm) and then going on a walkabout of Longford town (5:30pm). Later he’ll pop into the Bush Hotel in Carrick-on-Shannon (7:15pm) before heading to the TM Vintage Bar in Kilnaleck in his home county of Cavan at 9:30pm.

Michael D Higgins will go on a walkabout with Eamon Gilmore on Grafton St from 2pm, before meeting Dublin-based supporters in the Westbury Hotel at 3pm. This evening he will attend ‘The Stunning Michael D Higgins’ in the Village on Wexford Street, beginning at 7:45pm.

Martin McGuinness is spending the day canvassing on Arranmore island, off the coast of Donegal, in advance of the election. The island is among the five which goes to the polls tomorrow, three days before the mainland.

Dana Rosemary Scallon will canvass in the west, starting at the cathedral in Ennis at noon before heading to the Galway Races from 2:30pm onward.

Schedule for Mary Davis, Gay Mitchell and David Norris were not available at time of publication.
