AS THE CAMPAIGN for the presidential election continues, check out where you can meet the candidates today:

Mary Davis will be officially launching her presidential bid at her campaign headquarters in Fitzwilliam Hall on Dublin’s Leeson Street at 11am.

At 1pm, Seán Gallagher will be taking part in a walkabout with student clubs and societies at Dublin City University. He’ll then be visiting the Sophia Housing Association on Cork Street, Dublin 8 at 3pm.

Michael D Higgins will be meeting and greeting shoppers on Dublin’s Grafton Street from 12.30pm.

Gay Mitchell will appear on RTÉ radio’s Today with Pat Kenny at 10am, but has confirmed no plans for public meetings.

David Norris will travel first to Knocknaheeney in Cork city to meet voters at the Community Music Project from 9am. He will then visit the city’s Chamber of Commerce at 10am, followed by a trip to the English Market at 12.30pm.

Martin McGuinness and Dana Rosemary Scallon have not yet confirmed any public events for today, but are likely to be focusing on media interviews and preparation for tonight’s TV3 presidential debate hosted by Vincent Browne, which will feature all seven candidates.
