Poll: Are you happy?

The World Happiness Report places Ireland 18th with a happiness score of 7-out-of-10. But are you happy?

THE LATEST WORLD Happiness Report has found that Ireland ranks 18th in the world with an average happiness score of 7-out-of-10 in the years 2010 to 2012.

This compares to 7.1-out-of-10 between the years 2005 and 2007 – the height of the Celtic Tiger – indicating that we’re almost as happy now as we were in better economic times.

The survey of 150 countries measures things like health, life expectancy, income, productivity and social support. It placed Denmark and Norway at the top and Togo and Benin at the bottom.

So today’s poll asks, quite simply: Are you happy?

Poll Results:

No (3147)
Yes (2027)
I don't know (1565)
